After seven years of writing, A WALDORF DIARY‘s manuscript is completed. Now each Main Lesson chapter needs to be formatted for publication. This time-consuming process may take up to a month for the longer chapters, and here you can see how it is going.

These are A WALDORF DIARY‘s Main Lesson chapters, arranged in horizontal rows per school year:

Publication Schedule 2024-09-09

Those on a pale-yellow background are already published. Those in the grey field are awaiting their moment.

Pending chapters will become available across the years in vertical rows: Each first chapter from Class 2 to Class 7, followed by all the second chapters, then the third, and so on.

Right now, the fourth chapter of Class 2 is being formatted, so it is “in preparation”. The fourth chapter of Class 3 will follow, so it is “scheduled”.

This overview is updated according to progress, so you can always check the stage of publication here.

It is unfortunately impossible to give precise dates, because progress depends on too many variables of daily life. And since the chapters for the older classes have a lot of extra useful material and examples added to their daily lesson plans, they take correspondingly more time to get ready. But they will be worth the wait.

  1. Hello, amazing guides! My only advice would be to complete each year level entirely before moving on to the subsequent year level, this way people are able to use your whole works as their children grow (similar to how Waldorf schools grow). If you only do a small part of each year level then no one is able to use your whole work for the year, not sure if that makes sense?

    • Indeed it does! On the other hand, by proceeding in THIS way I expect to get a head start of one term across seven grades by the time the next academic year begins. Either way it will be a while until everyone can get what they need, but I’m working on it day by day.
