A blackboard drawing introduces a new Main Lesson topic. As the children listen to the teacher’s presentation, the large, colourful image invites them to dream into the story. Later, they create their own interpretation in the Main Lesson book.
As a living teaching tool, such a drawing may evolve over several days as its topic unfolds. At times it inspires the children’s free drawing, at others it teaches them a particular point step by step as a guided drawing.
These and many other blackboard drawings are featured in A WALDORF DIARY
