This chapter begins the Spring Term with a week on the topic of the Three Kings who are taking form in illustrated bookwork, paintings and modelled figurines. Reading and writing are complemented with the drawing of complex ‘running forms’ whose inner logic prepares the ground for the year’s second block of arithmetic.
